The forest cabin
To wake up at dawn and just lie in bed and listen to the rustling of the wind in the crowns of the trees. Sometimes a deer walks by, but most of the time you are just completely yourself, at one with nature. This is the idea behind Skovhytten. A place where you can seek shelter from everyday noise and disturbances and just make room for time, thoughts and slowness.

Good to know before your visit
The forest cabin is furnished with a large double bed, a bedside table, a lamp, a coat rack and a chair, so as not to take the focus away from the surroundings. In addition, there are both bed linen and towels of the best quality.
Breakfast is included when you stay overnight in Skovhytten and is served in the restaurant. We also recommend that you book a table for both lunch and dinner when you book your stay.
Toilet and shower are in the main building, which is approximately 50 meters from the cabin.
Staying overnight at Mangholm in Skovhytten is a wonderful nature experience and cannot be compared to a classic hotel room.

FAQs
The two cabins are a stone's throw away from the main building, but completely undisturbed from the farm's other visiting guests, as they are surrounded by trees and bushes.
In the farm's main building, there are two toilets and a shower, which can be used by the guests of the cabins 24/7.

If you have purchased breakfast for your booking, the breakfast basket is ready to be picked up in the restaurant between 8.00 and 9.00.
At least you can! However, children should not walk around the farm alone as we have many water holes that you can fall into and fences with shocks.
Dogs are not allowed on the farm or in the cabins.

In Havehuset there is air conditioning, so you can cool the cabin down when it's hot and heat it up when it's cold. The forest cabin is not heated.
Yes, both cabins are equipped with bed linen and towels.
You can enjoy the silence, go for long walks – for example follow the Kulsvigerstien which starts from the middle of the avenue. You can also say hello to the animals or take a walk in the vegetable garden. If you are here for a longer time and want to go on small excursions, there is Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, Nejede Vesterskov, Vejby Strand, Esthers Have and Ree golf club, if you are up to it. We prefer to stay on the farm ourselves and enjoy the surrounding nature.

The garden house is our large wooden cabin, which with its two rooms and kitchen/living room can house up to 4-6 people.
